Can dogs eat Horse liver?

Horse liver(馬レバー)

With care

Horse liver, very high in vitamin A and copper.

What kind of food is this?

The liver of the horse. Very high in vitamin A and copper, and it also contains iron and zinc.

Liver is an organ where even a small amount moves the nutrition numbers a great deal. Vitamin A and copper in particular tend to accumulate in the body, so use it as part of the meal, not as the main meat.

In breeds known to accumulate copper in the liver (such as Bedlington Terriers and West Highland White Terriers), take care that copper-rich ingredients do not appear day after day.

Products sold for the human table, such as from supermarkets, should be cooked through to the center before feeding. Products sold as raw food for dogs should be used as directed on that product.

When you have these care goals

Skin and coat care — A cut that contains vitamin A, copper, and iron. One of the foods that comes up when thinking about skin and coat care.
