What kind of food is this?
Deer ribs used bone and all. Compared with boneless spare ribs, minerals change greatly because the bone is included.
The big difference from the meat-only version is that you take in bone-derived calcium along with the meat.
Meat from around the deer's ribs with the bone removed. High in protein and modest in fat, and it also contains potassium and magnesium.
Because there is no bone, it is not a calcium source. Its nutritional character is very different from bone-in spare ribs — this one is used as red meat.
How to serve
When serving with the bone in, watch your dog while they eat so they do not swallow it without chewing. Do not feed cooked bones, as they tend to split into sharp pieces when they break. If you do serve them, simmer them in a pressure cooker or similar until they are falling-apart soft enough to crush with your fingers.
